The espresso

Magnitude is a sweeter option to our award winning Momentum Espresso. Magnitude is comprised of 50% Brazil Santa Lucia, and 50% Colombian el Porvenir. The higher portion of el Porvenir adds more sweetness and complexity to the espresso, and makes for a chocolate and caramel taste profile.

The blend

Tweaking a classic can be risky, but we knew that by upping our Colombian component and dropping the Brazil, would result in a sweeter more caramely coffee. With a juicier mouthfeel and longer finish, Magnitude is the coffee for you if you're wanting bags of sweetness and a moorish finish.

Why we love it

Sam
Service Engineer

As an engineer, one of the things we do when installing the machine is dial in the grinders, so I'm always trying espresso. I love the Magnitude as it's sweet with lots of chocolate notes.

Go for a slightly longer shot if you want more balance, run it short for bags of sugarcane sweetness.

Brazil Santa Lucia

Located in the region of Sul De Minas, Fazenda Santa Lucia is perfectly situated to grow coffee in Brazil. The 123 hectare farm has been in the Garcia Family since 1994. The Family has a history of three generations of coffee producers, initially beginning with Alexandre Garcia Capelo who inspired his son Antonio Wander Garcia to follow in his footsteps and farm coffee, studying agricultural engineering and researching plant reproduction and plant nutrition in the process.
