Owned by husband and wife duo Vincent & CΓ©line, La Barantine has a wonderful reputation in Edinburgh for their amazing breads, cakes and pΓ’tisserie. Having moved to Edinburgh from the North of France in 2010, CΓ©line and Vincent decided to leave everything behind in order to realise their Scottish dream.
Soon after arriving, La Barantine was born in Bruntsfield, and has gone on to add a further 3 shops; one in Stockbridge, one in Victoria Street and a second Bruntsfield shop, which acts as the businesses bakery site where they make lots of delicious bread, the smell from this shop is amazing and a must visit.
