About our coffee gifts

Every Modern Standard coffee gift is roasted to order at our roastery in Glenrothes, Fife, so it arrives fresh rather than sitting on a shelf. Our gift boxes hold a 200g bag of any coffee from our core range, from chocolatey espresso blends like Momentum to bright single origins, with a printed bow and a write-on gift tag. For people who don't drink coffee, our 52% Colombian hot chocolate was named Best Hot Chocolate by The Independent and is dairy free.

How do the coffee gift boxes work?

Choose a box design, then choose any 200g coffee from our core range and how they brew. We roast it, pack it in the box and send it. Each coffee gift box is £9, and the hot chocolate and coffee pair is £16.

Can I send a gift straight to the recipient?

Yes. Enter their address as the delivery address at checkout. On our gift boxes you can add a gift message as you order, and we'll include it with the gift.

What is the difference between a gift subscription and a gift card?

A gift subscription sends freshly roasted coffee every month for 3, 6 or 12 months and ends on its own, so there is nothing to cancel. A gift card lets them choose their own coffee whenever they like.

When should I order for it to arrive in time?

We dispatch Monday to Friday, same day on orders placed before 12 noon and the next working day after that. Free delivery is Royal Mail or Parcelforce 48. If the date is tight, choose express delivery with Royal Mail or Parcelforce 24 at checkout.

Will it fit through the letterbox?

Our 200g bags are packed in letterbox-friendly packaging. Gift boxes and larger orders travel as a small parcel.

How much is UK delivery?

UK delivery is free on orders over £30, sent with Royal Mail or Parcelforce 48. Express delivery with Royal Mail or Parcelforce 24 is available at checkout.
