How we roast our coffee
-
Green coffee arrives
We buy speciality-grade green coffee from producers and import partners we trust, and store it at the roastery until it's time to roast. How we source our coffee.

-
Profile and taste
Each coffee gets its own roast profile, designed to bring out its sweetness, balance and flavour. We taste as we go, so we know it's right before it goes into a bag. How we taste coffee.

-
Roast
We roast in small batches on the machine that suits the order, from the 2.5kg for small lots up to the 70kg for our biggest orders.

-
Pack and send
Our own team packs every bag in Glenrothes and sends it to homes and businesses across Scotland, the rest of the UK and beyond.

From Essex to Fife
Bringing roasting home to Scotland
We started roasting in Essex in 2015, on a single 20kg Diedrich. As we grew, serving customers across the UK and Europe, we needed more space, and it never quite felt like home.
In December 2019 we moved to a 15,000 sq ft roastery on Cavendish Way in Glenrothes, the Fife town our founder Lynsey grew up in. It gave us room for more roasters, better facilities and a roastery shop where locals can buy coffee straight from the source.
