Our decaf coffees
Mellow Decaf is our everyday decaf, made for espresso and milk drinks as well as filter. We also roast single origin decafs such as Café de Mujeres from Mexico, decaffeinated using the Mountain Water process, which uses water rather than chemical solvents.
How is decaf coffee made?
Coffee is decaffeinated as green beans, before it's roasted. Water-based methods like Mountain Water and Swiss Water, and methods using natural CO₂, remove almost all of the caffeine while keeping the coffee's flavour. Decaf isn't completely caffeine-free, but a cup contains only a few milligrams.
Decaf works in any brewer, from an espresso machine to a cafetière. Choose whole bean or a grind to suit you, or add decaf to a coffee subscription.

Ordering and delivery
How quickly will my order be dispatched?
We dispatch Monday to Friday. Order before 12 noon and it goes out the same day; order after that and it goes out the next working day.
How much is UK delivery and how quickly will it arrive?
UK delivery is free on orders over £30, sent with Royal Mail or Parcelforce 48. Express delivery with Royal Mail or Parcelforce 24 is available at checkout.
Is your coffee roasted to order?
Yes. We roast in Glenrothes, Fife, five days a week, and we roast to order, so your coffee is roasted for your order rather than taken off a shelf.
Are your coffee bags recyclable?
Yes. Our coffee bags go in your normal kerbside recycling.
