Cherry, Lavender and Almond Latte Ideas
Three lighter, floral and fruity latte ideas: cherry, lavender and almond.
In this article
If caramel and vanilla feel a bit everyday, try something different. Cherry, lavender and almond all work beautifully with espresso and milk, and they make great iced drinks too.
What you need
- An espresso machine with a steam wand
- Espresso coffee, such as our Momentum Espresso
- Sweetbird Cherry Syrup, Lavender Syrup or Almond Syrup
- A 350ml milk jug
The recipe (12oz)
- 10ml syrup (one pump)
- Double espresso (about 36g)
- About 220ml of steamed milk
Step by step
- Add the syrup to your cup.
- Pull a double espresso on top and stir. See our espresso guide.
- Steam the milk to 60 to 65°C and pour it in.
Three ideas
- Cherry bakewell latte: half a pump of cherry and half a pump of almond. Like the classic tart in a cup.
- Lavender latte: one pump of lavender with oat milk. Floral and calm. Also lovely in a matcha latte.
- Almond latte: one pump of almond for a marzipan note. Great at Christmas.
Tips
- Floral flavours are strong. Start with half a pump of lavender.
- Cherry and chocolate go together. Try it in a mocha.
- All three work iced.
