An iced caramel latte is the café drink people order all year round. It is very easy to make at home: no steaming, just espresso, cold milk, caramel and plenty of ice.

What you need

The recipe

  • A tall glass filled with ice
  • 10 to 20ml caramel syrup
  • About 200ml of cold milk
  • Double espresso (about 36g)

Step by step

  1. Stir the caramel syrup into the cold milk.
  2. Fill a glass with ice and pour in the milk.
  3. Pull a double espresso. See our espresso guide.
  4. Pour it over the top and stir before drinking.

For the basic method, see our iced latte recipe. Prefer it hot? Try our caramel latte.

Tips

  • Mix the syrup into the milk, not the ice.
  • Drizzle a little extra caramel inside the glass for the café look.
  • Lighter option: sugar-free caramel.
